DAY 1 SOFIA - RILA MONASTERY - PLOVDIV

Hotel pick up, head down South-West Bulgaria to visit Rila Monastery - one of  Europe's oldest, World Herritage Site. Have a delicious local lunch in an open air restaurant. Pass through charming mountain villages, visit the famous Kapana quatter on arrival to Plovdiv, dinner and overnight. 

DAY 2 PLOVDIV - SOFIA 

Start the day with a walking tour of the old town of Plovdiv, visit 2nd century Roman theatre, Etnographic Museum, St. Konstantin and Helena church etc. Enjoy the artistic atmosphere of the old town, visit local art galeries and workshops. Have a cup of sand coffee next to the 15-th century Dzumaya Mosque. Transfer back to Sofia.
